Changes for the 2021 Hyundai Sonata

Updates for the 2021 Hyundai Sonata are minor and include 19-inch wheels with all-wheel tires for the SEL Plus trim. The new tires are quieter and offer better traction on all kinds of surfaces. The front passenger seat on the Limited gets six adjustments instead of four. All trims but the SE receive the Safe Exit Warning feature.

Convenient High-Tech

While the 2021 Hyundai Sonata lets you unlock doors with the key fob, it also uses the available Hyundai Digital Key. You can now use your compatible smartphone to unlock the vehicle and start the engine. As a plus, you can share this digital key with another smartphone, allowing other drivers to use your sedan.

Trim Options

Trim levels for the 2021 Hyundai Sonata include the entry-level SE and the mid-range SEL and SEL Plus. At the top is the Limited, which comes with the Blind-Spot View Monitor, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and the Surround View Monitor, which displays a virtual top-down view of your surroundings to ease tight maneuvering.

The Car Your Teens Can Drive

If you have young drivers at home in Palm Springs, CA, you'll be excited to know that the Hyundai Sonata received the 2020 Best New Cars for Teens nod from U.S. News & World Report. The vehicle is also a 5-Star Overall Safety Pick from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and a Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
