Pick the Right Tires for Your Car
First, if you are looking for new tires, you need to pick the right ones. There are plenty of tires out there, and the right tires for one vehicle are not necessarily going to be the right vehicle for yours. You need to take a look at the size of your wheels, and make sure you select tires that will actually fit on your car. Then, you need to select tires that are right for your driving style. For example, if you spend a lot of time driving in the snow, then you might need some winter weather tires. Or, if you spend a lot of time driving in hot areas, you need tires that are a bit more rigid. We can help you find the right tires for your car.
Maintain Solid Tire Pressure
Next, it is critical to make sure that you maintain the right tire pressure. If you take a look at the inside of your driver's door, you should see the recommended PSI. You need to make sure that you keep your tires at that specific air pressure. If you allow your tire pressure to get too low, the traction between your vehicle and the road might suffer, and your gas mileage might drop. Keep in mind that your tire pressure will drop naturally when it gets cold outside, so pay closer attention to your tire pressure during the winter.
Tire Rotations Matter
Do not forget that you need to rotate your tires regularly. In general, you need to rotate your tires at least once per year or every 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you go too long between tire rotations, your tires are going to wear out quickly. As a result, you may have to replace two of your tires before you replace the others, which can impact the alignment of your vehicle. If you believe it is time for your next tire rotation, reach out to our service center to schedule an appointment. Let us help you take care of your tires by rotating them regularly. That way, you can get as many miles out of your tires as possible.
